Run for Roses is a special 5K race for women only and part of the Maryland Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Women’s Distance Festival (WDF) Grand Prix Series. It also celebrates the achievements of the Beginning Women Runners Program participants as many of them participate in their first 5K.
This year Run for Roses is expanding the opportunity for Team participation! In addition to the existing Mother/Daughter Team category, women runners can now sign up as a Grandmother/Granddaughter Team or as a general RfR Team with their friends, family, running club, work associates, complete strangers, Olympic athletes, etc.
All finishers receive long-stem roses and certificates.
